Baked Mussels


Serves 4:
1kg (2.21lbs) of mussels
1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1 cup of bread crumbs
5 tsp of minced garlic
2 Tbsp of minced parsley
salt and pepper
Aceto Balsamico of Modena


Pan-fry until the mussels open. Let cool and take the mussels out of their shell. Place the mussels in a bowl and cover with olive oil. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs, parsley, minced garlic, salt and pepper then add the mussels and mix well. Add two Tbsp of balsamic vinegar and mix again. Put in a baking pan and heat for 5 minutes at 180 ° C (356 ° F) in the lower part of the oven. Serve hot.
